Groups are most welcome to visit the gardens. It is advisable to pre-book your visit, especially if you are arriving by coach, as coach parking space is limited and you will need to use our special entrance.

A discount of 10% is offered on the standard admission charge to groups of 20+during our regular opening times.

Please note that HHA, GBH and other vouchers cannot be used when visiting as part of a group. Group admission prices must be paid by all members of the group. Courier, driver and group leader will be admitted without charge.

Something different

It is also possible for a group to book a private visit. Below are some of the special elements we can arrange -

• Private morning visits for groups of up to 50 in number - £6.50 per person (minimum charge of £120)
• Guided tours with a horticultural theme, lasting up to one hour - £8 per person (minimum charge of £160)
• Early evening visits, with a glass of wine on arrival, enjoying the gardens at leisure - £10 per person (minimum charge of £250)
• Early evening visit, with a glass of wine on arrival and a guided tour of the gardens with a member of the castle gardens team - £15 per person (minimum charge of £300)
• An optional opportunity to visit the 15th century keep (price on application)
