“You can’t rush your entry into Drummond Castle Gardens, to do so would mean not to enjoy to the full the simply extraordinary view from the courtyard as you look down over them. It’s practically mandatory to linger at the top balustrade and get and admire the beautiful, formal layout. There are seats on each terrace on the way down too, and you will want to keep stopping. It’s a unique entrance and should be savoured.”

My first autumnal photo and from no other than the beautiful Drummond Castle Gardens. This place is an absolute must to visit, particularly during autumn the castle is surrounded by golden magic you can walk through the gardens and the woodlands trail without all the businesses of summer! ❤️

It’s only 1 hour away from Edinburgh (by car) so perfect for a little day trip 🥰
